About Ann

My work celebrates color, gesture, and the delightful surprises that arise when the two intersect. Inspired by the coastal landscape behind my home and my background in graphic design, I translate nature into a simplistic yet vibrant aesthetic.

Ann Parker is an artist living in Beaufort, South Carolina. Originally from Atlanta, she finds endless inspiration in the colorful coastal backdrop of her family’s everyday life. Upon receiving a BFA and moving on to design school, Ann put the paintbrushes aside to focus on her design career; however, the pull to paint was always there. After a vivid dream the night before her birthday, she woke up obsessed with painting again... and hasn’t stopped since. In her words, “My five-year-old self thanks me every day.”
